For Chris
Chris turns 40, and we're taking it to the White Isle — five nights of long lunches, longer sunsets, and the odd late one.
Two sides of the island
Coves ringed by pine and rock. Water somewhere between glass and turquoise. Long lunches that begin at three and end whenever the ice runs out. This is the Ibiza most people forget exists — and it's where the trip lives most of the time.
And then the sun drops behind Es Vedrà and the island wakes up. Pool bars in Playa d'en Bossa, a table somewhere in the old town, a walk home when the streetlights are the same colour as the sky. Optional, but strongly encouraged — at least once.
The days
Nothing is compulsory. Everything is optional. The only fixed point on the calendar is Thursday night.
Before you fly
All guests, please add the trip app to your home screen before we go — one tap on the button below. It's where every live update lands during the week: schedule changes, meeting points, boat times, restaurant reservations, group chat, and anything else that comes up along the way.
Not optional — you'll want it on the ground.
Before you come
Ibiza Airport (IBZ) is the only way in by air, twenty minutes from town. Direct flights from most of Europe; connect through Madrid, Barcelona, or London from further afield.
A villa on the west of the island, within reach of Cala d'Hort, San Antonio for sunsets, and Ibiza Town for the nights that call for it.
Warm and dry — mid-twenties °C by day, mid-teens at night. The sea is swimmable. Pack for beach, for dinner, and for one big night.
Euro. Spanish and Catalan are both official; English is widely spoken across the island's tourist areas.
A hire car makes the island. Taxis exist but can be scarce late at night — we'll sort transport for the big evenings in advance.
Swim things, sun things, one nice outfit, comfortable shoes for cobbled streets, and — this is not negotiable — a hat.
Two taps and it sits with your other apps.
